Somerset was retained by the general Contracting Team to review the erection methods,construction scheme and equipment designs for this 728 meters(2388ft) main span suspension bridge. It is the first new suspension bridge built in the United States in 35 years. The bridge is built with 400' tall concrete main towers and an 85' wide steel orthotropic deck made up of panels up to 50 meters(164ft) long.
