This $220m project involves the construction of a six laned cable stayed bridge with a main span section of 372m(1225') supported by a single plane of cables, together with 6000ft of elevated approaches and ramps. The complete superstructure is constructed with precast concrete segments. The approaches are built with 3 overhead gantries using span by span construction method. Somerset is designing the temporary supports; and equipment designs complete with the review of the gantries which are designed in Europe.
