Somerset was contracted to design a replacement hiline (cableway) system for this challenging bridge project. The Hoover Dam system exhibits the full potential of a construction hiline. Twin luffing cableways, side-by-side, spanning 762 metres, with a 45-tonne capacity each, gives this system an immense role in this bridge construction project.
