During tender stage, Somerset devised the preliminary erection methods for the successful contractor based on our concept of tie-backs rather than falsework. After the project was awarded, we laid out all the crane lifts for this segmentally constructed precast arch bridge. Very complicated lifting frames were designed to safely handle the varying degrees of each segment as well as providing access for stressing.
